Garcia Riera strengthens site safety against heat with neck shades and mineral supplements

From the Occupational Risk Prevention Department at Garcia Riera, we have implemented a new measure to prevent heatstroke among outdoor workers: the introduction of the INUTEQ neck shade as part of the company’s Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

This gear, specially designed to protect from direct sunlight and reduce heat stress, has already been distributed and is currently in use by our field staff. Additionally, Garcia Riera provides mineral supplements and proper hydration to ensure workers’ health during the hottest months.

We highly recommend the use of the neck shade for all professionals exposed to direct sunlight. While this initiative has been implemented specifically for our team, we encourage other companies to adopt similar measures as part of their own heat-prevention strategies.
