Completed intervention in a unique space inside the historic Celler of Vila-seca

Garcia Riera has had the pleasure of carrying out a special and carefully executed intervention in one of the most distinctive spaces of the historic Celler of Vila-seca.
This small but meaningful area, once used for wine fermentation, has now been transformed into a visitable space that preserves its architectural and historical essence.
A restored space with sensitivity and respect
The aim of the intervention was to maintain the original character of the cup while incorporating functional improvements that enhance accessibility and safety.
The work includes:
- A functional and integrated access
- Discreet staircases respecting the original volume
- Subtle lighting that highlights the geometry of the space
- Soft, non-intrusive safety systems
The result is a space that brings Vila-seca’s winemaking past closer to visitors and allows it to be understood and appreciated.

This rehabilitation has been made possible thanks to the coordinated work of all teams and specialists.
