Garcia Riera Delivers Educational Projects in La Ràpita and Corbera d’Ebre Ahead of the New School Year

With the start of the new school year, Garcia Riera has successfully completed renovation and improvement works in two educational facilities in La Ràpita and Corbera d’Ebre, ensuring their availability for students from the very first day of class. These interventions are part of the Renovation, Expansions, and Improvements (RAM) program for public facilities.
Institut Alfacs in Sant Carles de la Ràpita
During the summer period, significant upgrades were carried out at Institut Alfacs, focused on the outdoor courtyard:
- Demolition of the deteriorated pavement with poor water drainage.
- Land rehabilitation and installation of a new rainwater collection system.
- Construction of three sports courts: one basketball and two volleyball courts.
- Landscaping of green areas with gardens, trees, and urban furniture.
Doctor Ferran School in Corbera d’Ebre
At Doctor Ferran School, the works focused on restoring the façade and renewing the outdoor courtyard:
- Complete façade restoration to address capillary humidity issues.
- Demolition of the old courtyard and construction of a new space with play areas and a sauló sandpit.
Commitment to Education and Public Spaces
This type of project represents both a logistical and technical challenge, as it must be completed during the summer months to avoid interfering with school activity. Coordination with the architecture and project management team at @m6arquitectura has been key to ensuring the quality and timely delivery of the works.
Through this intervention, Garcia Riera reaffirms its commitment to improving educational facilities and creating safe, functional spaces for the students of La Ràpita and Corbera d’Ebre.
