10 Years Running and Supporting Research

On Sunday, October 5th, we once again laced up our sneakers and put our hearts into action, taking part in Sosciathlon 2025, a sports event with a solidarity purpose — where every step, pedal, and stroke contributes to a greater cause.
This year marks the 10th anniversary of the event in our area, and at Garcia Riera, we are especially proud to have been running (both literally and metaphorically) alongside it since 2015.
Sport in the Service of Solidarity
The Sosciathlon is much more than a competition: it is a community event where sport and commitment come together to support Ewing Sarcoma research. This edition broke records in both participation and fundraising.
Our Participation
At Garcia Riera, we were present thanks to our team — those who ran, cheered, and helped make our commitment visible. Some ran, others walked, others pedaled… but together we showed that building means much more than raising walls; it also means raising hope.
🎯 Why It Matters
• This event connects directly with our core values: community, solidarity, and social responsibility.
• Our continuous participation since 2015 reinforces our long-term commitment and consistency.
• Supporting research against diseases like Ewing Sarcoma gives a human dimension to our work: for us, building homes also means building a better future for people.
Sosciathlon 2025 was not just a sporting event, but a celebration of 10 years of shared effort — because the goal is much greater than any starting or finishing line.
