Garcia Riera Collaborates with the Construction Labor Foundation in Reus and Tarragona

Garcia Riera welcomes internship students from the Construction Labor Foundation, strengthening practical training and job placement within the sector.
During the month of June, Garcia Riera successfully hosted three internship students from the Construction Labor Foundation (FLC), who completed 80 hours of practical training at our worksites in Reus and Tarragona.
The students had completed the Professional Certificate (EOCB0109) in Auxiliary Operations of Continuous Coatings in Construction, totaling 320 hours of theoretical and practical training, as well as occupational risk prevention courses in masonry and painting with the FLC. The on-site training was essential to complete their education.
The internship agreements were signed under the collaboration between the company, the student, and the FLC. During the internship period, each student’s tutor—who was also their course instructor—visited the sites to monitor their progress.
Between July and September, the three students joined Garcia Riera with a six-month contract at the same sites where they had completed their internships, with the hope of consolidating their professional careers within the company.
This collaboration reinforces Garcia Riera’s commitment to training and professional integration in the construction sector
